The Basics Of Jumping Higher
Why Waste Time? Get The Guide That Will Easily Double Your Vertical Jump Here
So if your looking to jump higher then you should understand some of the basic techniques to increasing your vertical jump. The “crouch” position is actually pretty important when it comes to setting up your jumping position. You should get started in this position obviously. There is no single best move to increase a vertical jump really, instead its based more on proper techniques along with the right exercises. I am going to show you the starting point of any great jump below.
The best position for this is to have the knee of your leading leg slighty infront of your big toe. So this basically means you will hve a slight bend in your leg, but not an extreme bend. Basically what you are doing here is using your full leg strength to jump higher and not wasting any of it. The next step you will want to take is to usin your heel toe to leap into the air. As you feel yourself about lifting off the ground be sure to shift the pressure from your heel toe to the balls of your feet. Basically doing this allows you to use all of your power to jump higher without wasting any of it.
The last step here is when you are actually in the air you need to take the other knee that you did not jump off of and push it into the air. Does this also with your arms and keep them straight so you will not meet as much strain. These 3 steps are the proper form for jumping higher, but it does take alot of pratice to see results. Just keep at it and pratice and you will be fine.
