These are some basic questions that some people ask that I will answer right here.

Question: Are There Shoes That Make You Jump Higher?

Answer: Well to a general extent shoes will make you jump higher, but this is very limited. If you have a crappy pair of worn out walmart hows and then buy the hottest basketball shoes then yes these will make you jump higher. But in general do not expect anything big, jumping higher comes from technique and strong leg muscles. So if I had to say yes or no to this question I would say No.

Question : Is There One Single Leg Workout To Jump Higher That Works Better Than Another?

Answer: I would say theres no leg exercise that stands alone as the must do exercise. Walking on your tip toes helps as well as other exercises, but its really the combination of many exercises and techniques that really help. Any exercises to make you jump higher will have limits, but where the limits expand again is hen you combine the exercises together.

Question :Can I learn How To Jump Higher In A Week?

Answer: Well as far as any specfic guides out there for learning to do this in only a week im not certain of, obviously you can learn how to jump higher in a week but you will jump alot higher in a month. Learning how to jump higher in basketball or any other sport takes time, and I ould advise that you set a realistic goal of at least 2 weeks of training before you see any major results. Like I said there are several ways to jump higher for basketball, volleyball or any other sport you play, but to train these jumping muscles takes time. If you do not get proper rest overtraining could come into play, I always advise to start off slow when you start.

Question: How Much Is Too Much When It Comes To Training?

Answer: I think too much is when you spend half a day working on jumping exercises. You do not really need to spend more than 1-2 hours doing these exercises because over training can be worse than under training. Obviously this all depends on many factors such as your current phyiscal level, but in general I would say do not spend more than 2 hours per day training to increase your vertical jump.

Question: How Can I Train Myself To Jump Higher At A Constant Level And Keep It?

Answer: If you really want to jump higher and keep your vertical jump up then you need to do the same with your training. You need to make sure you are keepin your muscles strong, because when they weaken your vertical jump decreases. So basically the answer to this question really depends on how constant and steady your training is, the old phrase “use it or lose it” can apply here.
